Crop Top and Pencil Skirt

For a very long time I avoided Pencil Skirts thinking they are not for curvy women. But everything changed when I received this vertical striped Pencil skirt from Rosegal.com. It's one the most flattering skirts I have worn. Strangely I keep reading that vertical stripes tend to make you look wider than you are, which is so not true for this skirt.

I have been styling this skirt in variety of ways which includes causal wear and formal work wear but my favorite look is when I pair it with a shimmery  crop top for a party. Even though I weigh 140Lbs this look somehow manages to take off few LBS from me instantly, atleast thats what I think.

For the first time I wore this look for a Indiblogger conference in India and this year for one of my client's Kahini Fashion store launch in Seattle, USA.

I have been styling crop tops from long time now. I love wearing crop tops with indian sarees and also with short and long skirts. Let me know what you think about this look.
