Lehenga Choli by Glameve

Lehengha Choli was always considered as a traditional indian outfit. It was mostly worn during festivals or weddings or at grand occasions. Now in present day era where traditional outfits are designed with a modern outlook, ethnic fashion is trending like never before. These days ethnic fashion is more wearable on many occasions and not just on restricted to few like in past. 

Lehengha(Long Skirt) Choli (Top) has evolved from being the worn in the conventional style. Gone are the days where they appeared only in specific colors like red or green with heavy kundan work. They were expensive and grand so something you would rarely buy and also not wear too often. 

Personally I love the fresh new modern take on lehengha choli. Its ethnic yet modern, its rich yet  more wearable and comparatively not that expensive. I am talking about the style where Lehengha Choli means wearing a long flared shirt with a shorter top and an optional dupatta. The material choices has always been replaced with florals, chiffon, georgette and so on. Bollywood has totally accepted this trend and since last year we see social media flooded with images where our celebrities flaunt this style. 

Who can wear this style??

This style suits most body types just be selective with the top. Top could be as short as you are comfortable. Its preferred to wear a fitted top since the skirt is loose. For busty women V or boat neckline is preferred. The biggest advantage is for pear- shaped (bottom heavy) and petite or skinny women. Since the skirt is flared it helps you hide everything you want too ;) and choose a top with sleeves or longer length. For petite or skinny women the shirt helps add some volume with the fitted top, this style adds volume but avoids looking bulky. If they choose a tight fitted shorter blouse that totally works like magic on their body type.

Where can you wear it ??

This is neither  a everyday casual wear or a work wear. So except for that you could wear it everywhere depending on the bling of the dress.

The one I am wearing here is designed by www.Glameve.com for a occasion wear. The sequined collared top also adds a formal touch to it. To dress down the look I could wear this skirt with a simple top. Since the top has beautiful buttons with neat edges I could also use this as a jacket.
