Ananda Mela Seattle 2015

Ananda Mela is one of the Seattle's biggest outdoor festivals I have attended. This was my second year, you could see the pictures from last year here AnandaMela 2014. Seattle weather can be so unpredictable even in summers we can have few grey days where there are small showers of rain every now and then. But this bad weather didn't stop people from enjoying the AnandaMela. As excepted hundreds of families joined us again and over all it was a festival of togetherness.

AnandaMela 2015 was a fun family experience. Its a day two festival with wide variety of booths ranging from many Indian apparels stores, different variety of jewelry, Heena artists, designer sari sales and delicious authentic Indian food. The whole outdoor atmosphere with stalls on either side give you a good feel of street shopping, which we do miss living in the US.

There are a lot of activities for kids as well. A big play area with fun games dedicated to them. There were different performance stages where talented individuals or groups showcased their talent. Its always fun to watch tiny tots dance on stage.This year was special as my good friends daughters gave a rocking dance performance together.

For the very first time I also set up a booth in Ananda Mela and launched my jewelry collection called Ananya Kreations. Long story short I must say these things require a lot of efforts and planning. I did enjoy being on the other side of the stall, as previously I have always been a shopper/customer here.The best part being I met so many blog readers who shared their thoughts about Ananya Tales and the response was over whelming.
