Guitar Cake

I was in a fix, confused as to what should I gift Mr. R on his birthday. Mr. R is a person who values time and efforts more than anything else. He knows what a lazy cook I am and my definition of creativity just revolves around my blog. I am neither good at DIY's or any crafts.

 I knew I wanted to make him something myself instead of buying it from the store. He loves to play guitar and also has a sweet tooth. He is a Cake lover. So I decided to bake him a Guitar cake. Yeahh the idea was a good one but the fact is I had never baked a cake before. I have never even bothered to read a recipe for a cake. I am literally a illiterate  when it comes to cooking and baking.

Here's when my dear friend Charu came to my rescue. I told her my plan and she was kind enough to teach me. We met at her place, as it was a surprise for Mr.R. For next two days she taught me step by step the art of baking a cake from scratch. I felt like a kid at school, enjoyed learning it.
