Cocktail dresses are something I cannot resist buying. There have been few Cocktail dresses which I bought last year and I finally got an occasion to flaunt them this year. Phewww ! That was a long wait, but it was worthwhile :)
I always invest in only those cocktail dresses which I can wear over and over again, thats the trickiest part. So I prefer buying classics like ballroom gowns which will never go out of fashion. Preferably plain ones or single colored so that I can experiment with different accessories be it jewelry, scarfs or a head gear and give it a different look.
Recently I discovered that Indo-Western gown could be a great cocktail dress as I can wear it for Indian festivals and functions as well as otherwise :)
