On our first date, Mr.R wore formal beige pants, crisp white shirt with a clean shaved face and perfectly cut short hair. I thought he was dressed to impress and he wanted to give a good first impression. As days passed by I noticed he always sported a clean shaven look.
I liked the way he looked but felt there was something missing, I could not figure it out.

Days passed by...
One auspicious day Mr. R was too tied up with work and we met after a long break of eight days. From the time we met I couldn't stop staring at him, looking at my weird facial expressions he said 'Sorry I didn't have any time to shave, I know i look scruffy... Actually there was too much .... ', I said sharply "Please don't be sorry, in fact be grateful, because I love the way you look today ".
That evening I couldn't stop staring at him, I realized I like him with stubble, that was missing before and now he looked perfect to me.

Yes I know what you are thinking when its kind of a universal fact that girls like men clean shaven, numerous blogs written for this prompt on how men lost big chances or their impressions because of their beard, for me its the other way around :)
