I don't remember last when I woke up early..Yes 6:30am was like midnight for me, not exaggerating !
I didn't want to be late, I didn't want my friend Neelu, her husband Ramnik and her handsome son Aviral to wait for us.
So me and Mr. R met them on time and started our journey at around 8:30am and almost reached the destination around 10:45am. By destination I didn't mean the BLUE SKY outfitters who were taking us for a rafting adventure but I mean a nice cozy country side cafe which served great home made coffee and tasty margarita SANDWICHES (Yes I am a foodie)
Of course we had to eat well to gain strength to raft for 17 miles for the next two hours, thats what I thought !
After eating and drinking almost 3 to 4 cups of coffee we headed to the rafting office and got geared up in Wet suits, life jackets and helmets. I hated wearing the sticky black wet suit but Mr. R was loving it... As u will see he just could not stop posing and I was forced to take pictures..I usually like being on the other side of the camera ;)
What we were expecting was this :
Non-stop action with hardly a breather, this is the fastest moving and fastest dropping river in the state of Washington. Just upstream from where your trip begins, the Tieton River blows out of Rimrock Dam, giving you up to 17 miles of non-stop whitewater - and it's even the warmest river water in the state, too! Blast through Wild Rose, High Noon, and the unforgettable Waffle Wall. Rugged volcanic basalt cliffs line both sides of this mountain canyon, and the sun shines bright in these dry and arid hills.TO BE CONTINUED.....
You must have had some fun !
