Honestly I was never a person who spent so much time on internet. But ever since I started blogging that has changed for sure. I think now I am able to appreciate the true value of Internet :)

Of late my friends have been complaining  about me being stuck to my Mac for most of the time. Yesterday my friend asked me "What are the Fun things to do on Internet"?. For a moment I was confused and then later I realized, just because I am spending all my time staring at my laptop screen and typing she thought it must really be fun.

Well, I wanted to explain to her that Blogging is not all about FUN its much more than that. I am sure my fellow bloggers would understand what i am saying.

I asked her "What are the fun stuff that you do on internet ?".

No brownie points for you to guess the first thing she said is FACEBOOK and then You Tube.

When I get bored, here are few FUN THINGs TO DO on THE INTERNET.. in no particular order..

1. Learn something new, Update myself!
  I constantly strive to improve myself with whatever means possible. Internet is no exception. As they say "Internet is what you make of it ;-)". There is so much to learn and so little time. I love the way information which is available online amuses me.

2. Do it Yourself
 The lazy me has now started watching some DIYs and implementing them too. So creating something new or learning to do so could be fun.

3. Hobbies
I have started loving to cook, every dish is an experiment and kitchen is my lab ;-) So i am on a constant hunt to find new recipes and learn a thing or two from my fellow bloggers and the variety of information available online.

4. READ
Choose from the wide range of e-books or start reading Blogs. Just go Blog Hopping !
I love Blog Hopping, its so interesting to read so many different Blog and meet unique blogger personalities :)

5. Social Networks
Yes it could be facebook, google plus or twitter I love to keep up with my friends.


6. Play ONLINE games
This one is my favorite but i try not to do it often enough that i feel guilty of wasting time but I love playing games its a TIME KILLER !

7. Listen to MUSIC
 I listen to music all the time especially while writing up my blog posts, Music always soothes my mind and lightens the mood.

8. Watch a Movie
Nothing like a Video or a movie to get rid of boredom. It could be a romantic, humorous, tragic or an action movie depending on your mood.

9. Start a BLOG and then you will never get Bored !
I had forgotten the most important part of internet around which my life revolves that is BLOGGING :) Thanks to AM Sang who reminded me of it in one of the comments.
So go ahead just start a blog and say goodbye to Boredom forever ;)

10. This is a recent update and addition to this list and that is ONLINE SHOPPING !
Recently I started exploring this crazy online world of shopping and am totally loving it.

    I am addicted to Pinterest too....If you haven't tried it then this could be your space for all your newly found love (Cooking, DIY......). I do a lot of online shopping so those are my few apart from most things u hv mentioned....

    So treu...Internet is an open road. I spent a lot of my time on the internet, reading stories etc. and love to learn new things every day.

    Oh yes blogging surely keeps you busy in a good way. I like pinterest and Google+ too besides of course Facebook which is getting a bit monotonous now. Twitter is also fun!

    I work on my computer as a freelance writer, so every time I'm staring at my screen, everyone thinks I'm working. Usually it's a combination of working, streaming TV, reading blogs, writing blogs, working on my novel, shopping on eBay or Amazon, reading posts on Facebook and Twitter--it's just one big mess!

    Oh No. Don't Fall into Social Network. You will wake up after an hour realizing you just wasted time. But yes. Other points are so valid - Music, Games, Reading.
